runs big

Ordered my usual size first, the returned for a half size smaller. Shoes felt great immediately and they fall into that category of looking great with jeans, khakis or even dressier pants.

Beautiful shoes. Very comfortable. Soft supple leather. They do run a bit big and I was surprised how much difference b/w 11 and 10.5. Was worried I was between sizes, but stuck with the 10.5 (usually wear 11) and they felt great after second wear.
This is seriously some off the softest leather I have ever felt. I hope they last.

These shoes are made of supple leather with a pebble-grain texture. They have a pleasant leather aroma and a nice hue. The toe box is tapered, and the outsoles are soft and unremarkable.
Unfortunately they are quite narrow. I ordered my normal size, 10M, and the shoes squeezed the life out of my feet, the toe box allowing zero room for me to move my toes.
If they were wider and had a rounder tip, these would no doubt make a decent pair of shoes. It’s a shame shoe manufacturers have been so heavily influenced by pointy Italian dress shoes, which look unnatural and feel uncomfortable to me. I’m hoping the round-toe makes a comeback. The Mephisto Melchior is a good example of a handsome round-toed shoe.
