   This is a nice shoe, with velcro to make the width very adjustable. But on me (I have thin ankles/legs), it looked large and clunky. Since there wasn’t a 8.5, my typical size, I bought the 8. It was too small (short). I guess I’m also figuring out that I prefer a shoe that bends with your foot, this one does not.

   Beautiful sandal that was very comfortable but very heavy. I had to return because one show was warped, but I also returned because of weight. I love Mephisto shoes and they fit my foot perfectly.

   I have a very narrow fit and even with Velcro adjustment, my foot wasn’t secure. Also, sole way to stiff I need something more flexible at 70!

   The shoe is not very flexible and a little heavy. But, I love it, great style and well made.

   I returned these because the soles are too heavy, but not as heavy as the Mephisto “Dominica” style that I bought in 2023 and also returned. The “Belona” front straps sawed into my instep where the raw edges of the suede exterior and the lining met. This oversized look is the current style, and may work for younger women, but on an older woman like me these sandals looked (and felt) like clodhoppers. Otherwise, I liked the green color and that the sandals were true to size.

   I really wanted to like these sandals, but went with less expensive knock-offs for a couple of reasons. Before even opening the box, the weight made me doubtful. More important, these were just enough too short that my toes bumped the front edges. Sadly, I returned them.

    Cute-looking sandals and well-constructed, but the sole doesn’t bend much making it a workout on the feet to walk in them.

    I ordered these in both 38 and 39. I am usually closer to an 8 in US sizes and a 38.5 in Euro sizes. The 39 fit better, so I would say these run a little small. However, they have NO ARCH SUPPORT. I am looking for a sandal with strong arch support and that is what I thought Mephisto is known for.

    I really love these sandals and have many Mephisto shoes. Every time I wear these sandals, I’m in pain afterwards. I have a bad hip and stretch and exercise daily to keep it from pain and to prevent surgery. I didn’t want to return these sandals but cannot wear them without needing to take something for my pain afterwards. I’ve just finished therapy for this hip and wearing these shoes has almost made it necessary to return.

    The sandel was heavy, making straps uncomfortable when walking even with the multiple points if adjustment.
