   I nearly fainted when I saw the price of these, how Mephisto prices had increased about 40% since spring 2020. The quality and fit of these are so excellent – wonderful support and yet so comfortable.

   After a lot of trying to order correct size, finally this shoe fit.
   However, the insole ~ or the shoe itself smells to high heaven. I had to place them far away once removed.
   Also, the insole hurt both my feet. I think whatever the insole is made of I must be allergic to even wearing in house 2 hrs.

   I wanted a wider shoe–and in my opinion, this shoe runs wide—good!!!
   It also runs 1/2 to 1 size long, so I will return and re-order smaller size.

   These shoes are very expensive in my opinion. I was very hesitant to order them because they are so expensive. But they are super comfortable. I have trouble finding shoes that are comfortable. I’m very happy with them. The first time I wore them, I wore them for several hours and my feet still felt great at the end of the day.

   These are not Mephisto shoes. They are Mobil’s brand shoes. Truly false advertising although when you zoom in the picture above you can see that the inside of the shoes don’t say Mephisto. Why they are listed under Mephisto I don’t know. Is these their off-price outlet shoe. These shoes feel really cheap. The leather is poorly cut and the pale tan calfskin shows around the top of the shoe. They are comfortable but I feel like I was ripped off. Will look for something better and then likely return

    I bought these shoes in France to fill a gap while traveling and I love them! The suede upper is incredibly soft and pliant and yet the shoes still feel supportive. I have bunions and Morton’s neuroma, so it is very hard to find shoes that work for me (I usually wear Finn Comfort), but I was able to walk for hours on uneven surfaces without any problem. I did have to get a half size smaller than usual, as they seem to run long; fortunately, the width did not seem to be affected by the smaller size. Mobils is the « ergonomic » line of the Mephisto brand, but these are rather cute and could even be a little dressy imho.

    Ordered 10B/M. Expensive Shoe, Yes, Indeed. However, Worth Every Penny you spend for it!
    Fit is perfect ~ width is perfect ~ Length is longer than expected which is a Wonderful Surprise Lending this Shoe to Total Comfort right out of the box.
    I am sitting here ooohing and ahhing.
    *Zappos: I have returned shoes trying to get a supportive, attractive, comfortable shoe! This one hit the mark! I am grateful for your return policy! However, I don’t keep shoes that don’t work but return them within ver few days. I thank you so much for bearing with me??

    Yes, the Mephisto Fabienne is expensive, so I did a bit of research and I found a very similar shoe in Arcopedico, the Sisley for $135.00 (in their website). Great savings but the fit was awful. The Mephisto fit is wonderful for my terribly wonky feet, flat, bunions, Morton’s toes. It’s a pretty shoe and perhaps I could have gone a half size smaller (I bought 9.5 my true size) but I prefer that my Morton toe have that extra room; so if you don’t have Morton toe, you may want to consider a half size smaller. The sides of the shoes don’t flay outward (something certain shoes do on flat feet, and my bunions are covered well while the beautiful soft suede doesn’t cut into the bone. I am very pleased and I feel the money is well spent.

    I usually wear an 8 medium or a 7.5 wide. These shoes run wide. My foot fit the 7.5 medium. There still is slight gapping around the toe but that might be handy if one’s foot swells during travel. They give me the support In the footbed that I was looking for

    A nice looking semi dressy shoe. Quite expensive, which I would have kept if the toe box area wasn’t so wide. Strangely the heel area was just right in width and didn’t slip. But the toe box was really wide, and I have a bunion! I did think of playing around with inserts at the toe but at this price I need a perfect fit. Thank you Zappos for your brilliant customer service.
