   Really? Does no one use real hardware anymore? This is a really expensive pair of velcro closure shoes with a fake buckle stitched to the top. Velcro closures pick up all kinds of lint, never can be adjusted to the extent of a real buckle and are basically cheap looking. I wish I had noticed earlier and not even bothered.

   adorable shoes and super comfy! perfect height too to wear with dresses or be more casual. unfortunately I’m more of an 11.5-12 and these are a bit too short so I have to return. so sad!!

   I think these shoes are great! Very comfortable from the get go. Gives you a bit of height without the pain of wearing an uncomfortable heal. I like the retro feel of the blue suede and tortoise shell buckle but it’s all Velcro so very easy.

   In all other shoes I wear a size 10 which is a 40. But all of my Mephistos are a size 41 which is an 11. Mephistos are expensive but well worth the money for their style and comfort. I love red shoes and thought these would be perfect but the back strap hung out oddly at least 1/2″ beyond my heel on both the 10 and the 11 and there is no way to tighten it. And the inside arch support on both sizes of shoes were oddly way too high and very uncomfortable. I have multiple colors of the Lissandra which always fit perfectly but not these. Sadly had to return both because they were super cute.

   PERFECT summer shoes! Really comfortable, just-right wedge/heel height, a versatile style that works for a somewhat dressy event as well as a picnic. The faux tortoise buckle is understated and nice. Cool wavy pattern on the platform heel. Velcro strapping useful in our way-too-humid New York summertimes.
   I think the shoes are sized incorrectly on the website: I wear a size 10-10.5 and always a European size 41. I had to return (VERY EASY!) the first pair that were called a 10-10.5 but were too small– but I noticed they were marked a size 40. When I got what was called size 11/size 41 the fit was perfect. I think that size 41 translates as a 10-10.5 with most American brands.

   Wonderfully comfortable, stylish, versatile — could wear to somewhat dressy summer events as well as to a picnic. Cool wavy pattern on cork/leather wedge heel. Velcro strapping a good idea for humid summertimes. The faux-tortoise buckle is understated and nice.
   I think these shoes were wrongly sized on the website. I always wear a European size 41 and an American 10-10.5. The first pair of Giulias were marked 10-10.5 but (hidden under tape), Euro size 40. Too small, but the exchange was SUPER EASY. The American size 11 (hidden number Euro size 41) fits perfectly. I’ll feel great every time I wear these — so that’ll be a lot of great times!

   Shoes are really comfortable and I would have kept them in a more neutral color. The color is very orange-y and I don’t think I would wear them enough to be worth the price I paid.

   Love this shoe. I have numerous Mephisto styles and this is true to size, mine being 37. Lovely color, looks the same as picture. Since I have narrow feet I favor the adjustable styles. I waited too long to grab it in navy but still searching the web.
