These are really cute and very comfortable. I wear a 10 and this is the only European company to suggest a size 40 instead of 41. The 40 was too short. I returned them for a 41. I hope those are perfect.

I have been a birkenstock wearer for years, but they are always a bit wide for my feet, even the narrows. These are much narrower and work really well if you have narrowish feet. Won’t work for wide feet. They are very comfortable and the style is cute. They stay on your feet well too. I love them!

The sandals fits nice and snug. I love it. I ordered in gold color as well. I wear USA size 9, 9,5 and size 9 fits perfectly. If you have a narrow not wide feet, they will be good fit for you.

Was hoping adjustable strap would make them wide enough but thesse fit like other Mephisto shoes I’ve tried – too narrow across the upper strap for me.

The Helen and Heleonore sandals from Mephistopheles are my favorites. Not only are the incredibly comfortable and supportive but they are stunning as well. From walking the dogs several times a day to shopping to going out for dinner, this is the only sandal I need. Thus is probably my tenth pair – can’t be without them!

Mephisto Helen and Heleonore (same as Helen only with a braided cross strap) are my favorite sandals because they are without question the most comfortable, have perfect support, are designed for walking, and never hurt my feet. I walk my dogs multiple times per day, and in sandal weather these are always my go-to. But they’re also very stylish – I mean, what comfort sandal makes them in gold metallic and other stylish colors? Only Mephisto. This latest pair, the gold metallic Heleonore, are a replacement for a pair I finally wore out after many years. Can’t live without them!

The braided strap across the front of the foot brings a little more interest to this classically comfortable sandal. My previous black patent pair has lasted me 6 years, hoping for something similar with this pair.

Loved these right out of the box! Very cute, comfortable and I ordered these in my normal size. I do have a wide foot but not wide enough that I normally order my shoes in Wide. I just watch the styles and they usually fit fine.

This Memphisto sandal did not fit as well as my original Memphisto Hellen sandals. I thought the braid would make them fancier, but still a casual sandal. I needed a sandal with the same type of arch support, so I went to SAS and found a nice pair of blue and red sandals.

Loved the way this sandal looks and it feels great on my left foot. I have an issue with the second toe on my right foot and it rubbed painfully on the strap between big and second toe so I had to return them for a different style.
