I have had foot surgery and have a hard time finding a comfortable dressy shoe for an older lady. These were very comfortable the first time I wore them. I wore them all day the first time and were super comfortable.

Most comfortable shoes ever! I have been wearing them for 13 hours now straight out of the box, and have no desire to take them off. They do run small though so order up. I am usually a 7, but I had to get a 38 in this shoe.

This is now my go-to shoe for the summer! Excellent support and I wore them for an entire day right out of the box. I did need a full size larger than my normal size but other than that they are perfect. I have a fractured sesamoid bone in my left foot and was able to wear these in comfort.
I’m so disappointed they don’t have my size in other colors but I’ll order 2 more pairs when they become available. Oh, and as a bonus I get tons of compliments when I wear them.

I misinterpreted the photo depicting the strap closest to toes, I did not pick up the color gold, at all, so I was taken aback when I opened the box. Not what I was expecting, the strap is a bit blingy (shiny) and I’m not a blingy person but the shoe is so beautifully made and comfortable I’m going to keep them. I ordered the 39 (I’m a 9 US) and they fit my feet perfectly. This is my first pair of Mephisto, I’m intrigued!

Size up! Very comfortable and cute, but I needed to return for a full size larger. My first Mephistos, so not sure whether this is typical of the brand sizing.

Lassindra exudes the quality I have come to expect from Mephisto. Super comfortable shoe. Easy to walk in all day long. Love the velcro straps that allow me to adjust the shoe perfectly to my narrow foot. Patent leather doesn’t bite your foot like patent leather shoes. I’m not a fan of the straps going all the way down to the sole becasue it looks silly. But, I’m told that’s the present style. Wish they were a “dateless” style. Overall, a great stylish shoe that is super comfortable due to the platform sole.
Mephisto take note: arch support is weak and lacking!
Buyer take note: Lissandra runs a 1/2 size too small. I always wear a 36 EU. Unfortunately, Zappos doesn’t have a 37. I am bummed. They must go back since they are too small.

I have the black patent and rose gold colors and get many compliments. I’ve got plantar fasciitis/high arches, but control it with exercise and quality shows with good arch support. These shoes are very comfortable and attractive and do not cause any flair ups. I wear them to work and around town, and my feet don’t hurt at the enemy of the day.

This is a beautifully made shoe in all respects. Unfortunately, Mephisto does not make a wide. This is probably a good thing for my wallet, but not a great thing for my feet. I can sometimes wear a regular shoe depending on the shape–Ecco, Born, Camper. Unfortunately, Mephisto are just a hair too narrow at the toe base. I tried sizing up, but this did not help. Too bad, and Mephisto–are you listening?

Sizing runs small. My foot measures a true US 7B (medium). I needed a 38 in this shoe (which is a tad bigger than I usually prefer but they are so comfortable I am keeping them). The footbed feels like a 7.5 B in US sizes. But the straps are Velcro for a custom fit. In the size 37, my foot filled the whole footbed with no room to spare. I wear a 37 Narrow in Birkenstock, 7:5 in Tory Burch Flats., 7 in Tory Burch sandals. The leather is so buttery soft. The foot bed is padded and soft suede. Feet do not slide. The cork part is soft and bends with your foot (unusual for a platform). The bottom is rubber. Perfect good looking sandal.

Very pretty shoe for a comfortable shoe. Love that all the straps are velcro but look like buckles. My foot is a true size 7 medium per an orthotic shoe repair shop. I wear a 7 in Tory Burch flats (7.5 in closed toe). I wear a 37 Narrow in Birkenstock (but I am not normally a narrow in other shoes). I bought this is a 37 and 38 in brown color. My foot completely filled the 37 footbed to the edges (which slightly curve up) so I returned it. The 38 fit fine with normal room to spare in front and a little room in back. The Velcro straps keep foot in place. The color goes with all my shorts and casual summer dresses. Nice suede cushioned footbed. The leather straps are very soft. Will buy another color.

These shoes are indeed lovely. I found them to be much lighter than the Mephisto Helen’s, of which I had a pair for over 10 years. The problem is similar to many other reviews, the sizing is way off. I am a solid 40 in the Helen style (with a little room to spare) and the 40 in this Lissandra was at least a 1/2 size too small (length-wise). I suspect if I ordered the next size up, I would encounter sloppiness (I had already maxed out the Velcro on these). I have a long, narrow foot. They are light as a feather and very attractive, sad to return them.

This was a lovely shoe and very comfortable for a platform type shoe, but like other reviews, it was VERY small. I have always been a solid 40 in Mephisto (with room) and this was at least a 1/2 size too small, if not a full size. The shoe was incredibly lightweight. My only other issue is that it’s quite pricey – at $258 I just couldn’t justify the purchase with what I was getting (a summer only sandal, sizing was off, Velcro which wears out, etc.).

These are really cute, but for the price, the first thing that struck me was that the buckles are made of plastic! They are blemished as well (imperfectly finished) but I figure they are on the ground and no one will notice. Also, you can feel the little divide where the velcro pieces come together on the top of your foot (the buckles are just for looks), so I don’t think these will turn out to be great walking sandals, but good for social things, etc. They don’t hurt my bunions though, so I am keeping them

Beautiful and light weight wedge sandal. However, as many have already mentioned, this style runs a little short. I normally wear a size 7.5M(usually a 38EU in Mephisto). I ordered a couple of sizes to try and found that I needed to size up to a 39EU (US 9) in the Lissandra. Other than that, I found them to be extremely comfortable (nubuck version) and have now ordered four pairs….0ld Pink, Taupe, Navy and Coral.

I just bought a second pair of these because they are the most stylish and comfy shoes I own next to my Birkenstocks. I wear these to work with both dresses and pants. I always receive compliments when I wear them. I also feel like I could walk 5 miles in them and not have foot fatigue or blisters. I do have an extremely narrow foot, so I am not sure if these would work with wider feet, but they do have the Velcro closure to accommodate a variety of food widths. Some reviewers have commented on adjusting the buckles…not sure why you would need to do that since the Velcro makes them adjustable already.

True to size in that a 37 is more of a 6.5. I always struggle with European sizing because if differs from brands. Most of the Mephisto I have tried on you cannot choose “6” if you are a 6 – 6.5 – go with the 37.
It is a really cute style that gives you a bit of height, but is super comfortable and stable. At 60, I am not interested in wearing high heels. These are perfect for a casual to semi casual dress or outfit.

This is a gorgeous show! I love the styling and the Velcro adjustable straps. I would keep them, but some customer returned two different sized shoes! I am so sad as the yellow suede leather is just gorgeous.

Fit was perfect (and easy to adjust with the velcro straps). Super comfortable (I wore them at a conference where I was on my feet all day), and beautiful (they truly survived day-to-night events). I loved them so much I got them in 2 colors! Highly recommend.

I haven’t worn these out of the house yet, but wanted to leave a review because I have an identical pair in gold and tan. They are my go-to shoes for most evening occasions – dinner, parties, concerts. The amazing thing is how comfortable and walkable they are – I had a business meeting across town and was hesitant to wear them to walk 1.5 miles each way. They were every bit as comfortable as sneakers. Very expensive (my boyfriend bought me the first pair and I saved up to buy these) but well worth it. Also, they haven’t worn out after wearing them many times over two years.
