Felt a little big, but not enough to size down. Leather is very soft. Wonderful cushioning and moderate arch support. It is a beautiful and well detailed shoe. Sadly, I have to return as side of shoe rubs the bottom my ankle bones & causes redness.

These shoes feel super comfy in the footbed, stylish, and are lightweight (ideal for wearing and packing for a summer trip). However, I returned the shoes because the top fabric/seam kept rubbing on my mid-upper foot which I know will create a blister.

These were wide and soft; and although there was moderate arch support, as my foot moved about over the course of a few hours, I developed a blister on my heel. It should be considered a casual shoe and not up to usual standards of Mephisto . Not worth the price when there are pretty good, less expensive espadrille alternatives out there.
